Lacque

Live site · Interactive video

A lacquer house that makes one colour: the black liquid is the product, and gloss, satin or matte changes the footage and the page together.

One colour, three finishes: the footage is the lacquer, and choosing a finish changes how the whole page reflects light.

Finish switch (gloss, satin, matte) that regrades the hero and the bottle: contrast and highlights fall away, and matte adds a scattering veil
The bottle is the footage: a glass shape with the lacquer moving inside it, labelled with the chosen finish
A wear timeline that admits when it chips rather than claiming it never does
Quantity and bag that state nothing is sold
